Our wide range of after school clubs are run by an enthusiastic team of teachers, teaching assistants and parents.
Clubs offered vary from term to term. These include football, tag rugby, hockey, netball, cricket, athletics, cross-country, Key Stage 1 multi-skills, dance, singing, computing, mock-trial, recorders, Young Voices, orchestra and art.
In addition, the school runs a childcare option for parents - 'Kites' - which is lead by Mrs Amos, Miss Graham and Mrs Woodman. Kites takes place from 3.15-5.30 pm, Monday to Thursday.
The Living Rainforest
The Kestrels are learning about the rainforest this term. They really enjoyed their visit to the Living Rainforest.
Year 2 Cluster Sports
The Year 2 children went to Brimscombe School for the annual cluster sports event.
The Hawks enjoyed a rounders festival at SWR. They were able to develop their skills and play some games. The festival was run brilliantly by the SWR Sports Leaders.
District Sports 2014
We had another very successful District Sports and everyone enjoyed competing against the other schools in our cluster. Thank you to our roving reporters: George, Eric, Reevel and Arthur, for the fantastic pictures.
School Games Celebration Event
Some of the Hawks were lucky enough to perform their dance at the School Games Celebration Event at Gloucester Cathedral. They performed to hundreds of people and got to see some other fantastic groups.
6 Hawks took part in a gymnastics competition. Everyone performed brilliantly and can identify how they will improve next time.
Cross Country Running
Children from our running club showed great determination in the cross country events.
Our football club were very lucky to have some football training with two players from Forest Green Rovers. Everyone had a great time and learnt some new skills.
Sports Hall Athletics
Some of the Owls have been taking part in Sports Hall Athletics events. They all performed to their best which was great to see.
