Mrs Rushton is our amazing Executive Head Teacher. She came highly recommended and has dazzled us with her enthusiasm, exciting ideas, boundless energy and a rather impressive collection of shoes.

   compassionate.Favourite book? Children’s book – The Northern Lights trilogy by Philip Pullman. Adult’s book – A Star called Henry by Roddy Doyle. It made me smile, laugh and cry: an incredible story.

If you had to be trapped on a tv show for a month, what would it be? It definitely has to be Question Time. I love the high drama and emotion of political debate and seeing how people feel so passionately about making a difference to our world. I have been known to tune into the BBC Parliament Channel on occasions … and when election time comes I am in my element!

 

Mrs Rushton is our Designated Safeguarding Lead. She is subject leader for English, Music and French. She oversees curriculum development and leads developments in teaching and learning across the school.

                                                                                                

Mr Wilkinson is the full-time teacher of the Kestrels class. He is our very own Gareth Southgate – inspiring our teams of children playing football, rugby and cricket with good tactics, good team talks and good humour.

Favourite book? Getting Rich with Jeremy James by David Henry Wilson – a humorous look at how a young boy views the world.

If you had to be trapped in a tv show for a month, what would it be? Top Gear – all those cars to drive and an empty airfield - heaven!!

Mr Wilkinson is our Assistant Head. He is our Early Reading and Phonics lead and Maths subject leader. He also leads PE and DT. 

Mr Hall is our Hawks class teacher.

What makes you happy:  A nice cup of tea.

Mr Hall is our Science subject leader and works with our local Science hub.  He also leads Computing.

  

 

 

Miss Cook is the Eagles class teacher.  She is fun, creative and full of surprises!

Mrs Stafford has recently become our subject leader for PSHE and is shadowing the work of the English subject leader. 

 

 

Mrs Wilkinson is the school Senior Administrator. She works Monday-Thursday and can be found in the school office ordering pencils, organising exciting trips, counting money, talking on the phone and – most importantly – giving out stickers.

Favourite book: I have always got a book on the go but if there is nothing new that takes my fancy I will reread a Jane Austen.

Mrs Wilson is the Teaching Assistant in the Owls class.  She also is part of the Forest School team.

Mrs Carter is our Mental Health Lead, our Forest School Lead and our ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support) - a specialist role.  She is a lovely, understanding lady who is always willing to give second chances.

Miss Maizie is the Teaching Assistant in the Kestrels class.

Mrs Wood teaches in school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, covering PPA time and leadership time.

Favourite book: I have always loved detective books by Agatha Christie and have got all 66 of her mystery novels.  I come back to them again and again.

What makes you happy?  Being outdoors with animals, mostly horses.

Singing or dancing:  It has to be singing, but sometimes it is hard to do one without the other.  I am terrible at both but enthusiastic in my approach!

Favourite sandwich:  Tuna mayonnaise and crisp sandwich - it is very important that you put the crisps in the sandwich for the full benefit.

What makes you happy?  getting things that children and families need to help them be the best they can be.

Mrs Fuller is an experienced SEN TA, currently part of the Eagles team.

What makes you happy?  Drinking tea in the garden, the smell of fresh cut grass, eating breakfast in my pyjamas, watching the dog do 'zoomies', frosty and bright mornings, snow, kindness, lunch with friends, hugs, dancing like no one's watching ... the list goes on and on!

What is your favourite sandwich filling?  Chicken, avocado, salad, mayonnaise, tomato - with crisps on the side of course.

What is your favourite song from the soundtrack of your life?  Ask me at the end of my life! Probably all of them, because it's life and that's always worth celebrating.

 

 

 Kelly the Cook is a vital part of our staff team.  She is our Breakfast Club leader, a member of our Kites team and cooks the most delicious lunches.  We would be lost without her.
